What we collect

The mission intake form may collect your name, email address, optional phone number, the recipient's name and phone number, relationship information, the message you want delivered, background/context, preferred call timing, and optional attachments.

Why we collect it

Information is used to review submissions, determine whether a request is appropriate, contact the submitter if clarification is needed, and potentially carry out the requested communication.

Form delivery

The current intake form is processed through FormSubmit and delivered to the project's intake email account. Information submitted through the form may therefore be processed by that service and by the email provider used to receive the submission.

Do not overshare

Please provide only the information reasonably necessary to evaluate the request. Do not submit Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, passwords, medical records, government identification numbers, or other highly sensitive data.

Attachments

Uploaded screenshots, photos, or PDFs should contain only information necessary to explain the request. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to provide the material.

Retention

Submissions may be retained as long as reasonably necessary to review the request, document decisions, manage communications, and comply with legal obligations. Unneeded material may be deleted.

Sharing

Information is not sold. It may be shared with service providers used to operate the site or communications workflow, or when required by law, necessary to protect safety, or needed to investigate abuse of the service.

Recording and publication

Submission of a request does not by itself authorize public release of private information. Any recording or publication will be evaluated separately and handled only where lawful and appropriate.

Security

Reasonable measures are used to protect submissions, but no internet or email system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Changes

This notice may be updated as the project evolves or new service providers are added.
